Prepare the ingredients, brush the shell of the mussels, remove the gills and set aside;

Chop the basil, cut the onion into small pieces, shred 1 piece of ginger, cut the pepper diagonally, and mince the garlic;

Put fish sauce, sugar, chili sauce, and half of the minced garlic into a small bowl and mix well;

Boil an appropriate amount of water in a pot, add a slice of ginger and half a cup of cooking wine, add mussels and cook for 2 minutes, take out the mussels;

Heat the oil separately, add the other half of the chopped garlic, onions, peppers, and shredded ginger and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the mussels and add the sauce prepared in step 3;

Add the basil and stir-fry evenly, turn off the heat and pour lemon juice over it.
