Slippers Pizza
Overview
I just came back from a trip to Italy and I still miss the various pizzas with mozzarella cheese. But as a student, it’s not practical to make pie crust by hand at home, so I used slices of soft European buns that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Too much cheese is often added to pizza making, resulting in extremely high calorie intake. So I added a small amount of butter instead, which not only increased the texture, but also solved the problem of some friends who don’t like rich cheese~

Steps

All the required materials are here, except for the salt, which I forgot to take.
-
Step 1: Cut small tomatoes in half. It is recommended to use red cherry tomatoes.
-
Step 2: Cut a tomato with a little more water in half and spread it firmly on the bread slices, as shown.
-
Step 3: Cut smokeless butter into thin slices and spread on the bread slices.
-
Step 4: Place the cherry tomatoes upside down on the bread slices. If you like a juicier and sweeter taste, add more tomato pieces as shown in the picture; otherwise, the taste will be more milky and fragrant.
-
Step 5: Add an appropriate amount of mozzarella cheese, then sprinkle with salt, dried parsley and freshly ground black pepper.
-
Step 6: Sprinkle the grated cheese, preferably in a thick layer, to help the cheese draw when you finally eat it.
-
Step 7: Preheat the oven to 175 degrees for 10 minutes, bake at 175 degrees for 10 minutes, then turn to 185 degrees and bake for 10 minutes. A total of 15 minutes is enough for the small ones in the picture, but a little longer for the larger ones. Ps: Ignore the internal environment of my oven~

The finally baked Slipper Pizza crust is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cheese has a springy texture, with a light milk aroma, and the sweet and sour tomatoes. It is super suitable for appetizers or energetic breakfasts.
