Seafood braised noodles
Overview
Grandma has been in my memory for too long. At that time, I was 5 or 6 years old and just remembered her. In my impression, she was tall, thin and tall. Oh, maybe I was very young at that time, so my grandma looked very tall. My hometown is in Yantai, Shandong, and my grandma’s house is only 2 miles away from the seaside, in my mother’s words. That year, my parents took our family of five back to our hometown in Yantai. The custom in Jiaodong area is to pay attention to the dumplings that start with the dumplings and the noodles with the feet. I remember that the first meal my grandma made for us was stewed noodles with boiled clams, soup and meat. Not to mention how delicious it is, decades have passed and my grandma’s appearance has become increasingly blurry in my memory, but the taste of the braised noodles is still unforgettable to this day! Although my mother often cooks it for us, it’s not as delicious as grandma’s. Maybe it’s the freshly made soup made from clams that grandma made while rushing to the sea early in the morning that makes it particularly delicious. Maybe it’s because other people’s meals are always delicious. That day, my daughter's boyfriend came back from Weihai after buying some seafood. My daughter asked me to make seafood braised noodles. There was a box of grilled scallops among them. If you don't have clams, just use it. It will be just as delicious.
