Chive egg pancake
Overview
Leek, also known as Qiyang grass, aphrodisiac grass, longevity leek, etc. Leek, with emerald-like leaves and white jade-like roots, is fragrant and tender, and has been a popular vegetable since ancient times. The earliest "Book of Songs" in my country contains verses about sacrificing lambs to leeks, which shows that our ancestors regarded leeks as precious delicacies during the Western Zhou Dynasty or the Spring and Autumn Period, and were used as sacrifices in temples. Since ancient times, many poets have left many beautiful poems about leeks. Du Fu in the Tang Dynasty described the deliciousness of leeks by saying that it rained at night and cut the spring leeks, and the yellow beams were used in the new kitchen. Because of its slightly spicy flavor, leeks serve as both main dishes and seasonings. They are a common delicacy in home-cooked meals, snacks, and even sumptuous banquets. Chive dumplings, chive buns, chive pies, and chive pot stickers are common home-cooked delicacies in the north, and leeks are indispensable in the fillings of three-fresh dumplings.
