Zucchini and mussel bone soup

Overview

This is a very homely version of Laohuo soup. The weather has been so hot recently that people feel very angry, so I specially made Laohuo soup. The mussels can be replaced with dried scallops or oysters.

  1. The main ingredients are all prepared.

  2. Soak peanuts in water (there are two kinds of peanuts at home, I took some of each)

  3. Blanch the bones and pork meat, take them out and wash them clean.

  4. Wash all materials.

  5. Put all the clean ingredients into the pot and add an appropriate amount of water. (Add the ginger slices together)

  6. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat.

  7. While the soup is simmering in the pot, peel the zucchini.

  8. Cut into four large pieces.

  9. After the soup boils, take out the float.

  10. Simmer the soup over high heat for 20 minutes, then reduce the heat and simmer for 50 minutes, then add the zucchini and continue to simmer until the melon is liquefied.

  11. Then add appropriate amount of salt to taste.
