Apple rye paste
Overview
The remaining bits of rye flakes have been sitting around for a while, but I never thought of them. Finally I remembered that it wasn't much, so I simply made some rye paste to kill it. A single rye slice would be too monotonous, but suddenly I thought of the stacked apples, and they just got together to solve each other's problems. Cooking apples is said to destroy the oxidase enzyme, prevent the apples from browning, and maintain the original color.
