baguette
Overview
Whenever I watch a movie and see French people walking on the street, holding a long loaf of bread in their arms, I feel curious. Later I find out that it is the French baguette that the French like to eat. It uses simple ingredients and pays attention to its original taste. Only after making it myself did I realize that it tastes really good, with a salty and chewy texture, and the aroma of wheat filling your mouth.

-
Weigh the materials
-
Pour water, flour, salt and yeast into the bread machine. The yeast and salt are open and cannot come into contact with each other
-
Turn on the kneading program of the bread machine and knead it into a smooth dough. There is no need to take out the glove film. You can knead it into a ball with your hands without a bread machine
-
Cover the bread machine and let it rest for half an hour. Take it out and divide it into three pieces of dough
-
Take a piece of dough and roll it into a long tongue shape. Sprinkle some dry powder to prevent sticking, and roll it up along the long edge
-
Place the seam side down into the baking pan and cook the remaining two
-
Place the baking sheet in the middle and upper rack of the oven, put two bowls of hot water on the bottom, close the oven lid and ferment
-
When it has doubled in size, take it out, make a few diagonal cuts with a sharp knife, sift dry flour on the surface, and place it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes (if you forget to take a photo, skip this step)
