Fondant Cookie House
Overview
A trip to Hainan five years ago started my baking journey. It was Children's Day, and the hotel held a parent-child baking event. It was the first time I learned how to make cookies, and it was also the first time I saw the amazing cookie house. This is how I became inseparable from baking. I took advantage of these few days of vacation to make the biscuit house that I have been thinking about for a long time. The dream home in my heart, it faces the sea, the flowers are blooming in spring, I can plant my favorite flowers, walk hand in hand with him on the beach, and grow old together with her.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Slice and soften the butter after taking it out of the refrigerator.
-
Add powdered sugar in portions and mix well.
-
Add the beaten eggs one at a time and beat with an electric mixer until fluffy.
-
The whipped butter expands in volume and becomes light.
-
Sift in low-gluten flour and mix into a dough, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for half an hour.
-
While the dough is rising, make the cookie sheet molds. Draw the floor plan of the biscuit house on paper and cut out the paper mold with scissors.
-
Roll the dough into a thin sheet, line the paper mold with the dough, and carve out the shape with a knife.
-
Transfer the cookie dough to a non-stick baking pan.
-
Use the remaining dough to make fences and decorations.
-
ACA oven middle rack, 180 degrees, hot air, about 12 minutes. Watch the oven during the last few minutes to avoid burning the cookies.
-
After the cookies have cooled, decorate the cookie house with fondant and icing sugar. The method of making icing is: add 200 grams of powdered sugar to an egg white and beat evenly. Use powdered sugar and lemon juice to adjust the consistency of the frosting.
-
Put up the main body of the cookie house. Decorate the intersection with icing sugar.
-
Pipe icing on both sides of the eaves, and the icing should overlap the sides of the triangles at both ends.
-
After installing the eaves, use fondant to make some small flowers to decorate around the house.
-
Use your imagination to decorate your home more beautifully. I made a car, a coconut tree, a double chair, and a swing.
