Sweet and Sour Tofu Sticks
Overview
There are many ways to make tofu, including frying, steaming and making soup. Because it is cheap and tofu is a tonic, heat-clearing and health-preserving food, it is very popular among housewives. The sweet and sour tofu strips I made today are sour and sweet, very appetizing. It is simple and quick to make. It only took about 15 minutes from adjusting the sauce to cooking.

Soak the tofu you bought in salt water first, then cut each tofu into 3 small pieces

Make the sauce, pour soy sauce and vinegar into a small bowl

Add tomato sauce

Add salt

Add sugar

Add water and cornstarch

Stir evenly to form a sauce

Add oil to the medical stone pot, heat it, and add tofu strips

Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 7 minutes

Then pour the sauce into the pot

Flip both sides

Cook for another 2 or 3 minutes and when the juice is almost gone, serve it on a plate
