Squirrel Bread
Overview
I especially like to make animal bread recently. Although it is time-consuming, the moment I see the finished product, the hard work is worth the wait.

Steps
-
Put all the ingredients in the main ingredient except butter into the bread machine and start the dough mixing process.
-
After a program is completed, add softened butter and start the dough mixing program again until the dough comes out with a film.
-
Shape the dough into a round shape and place it in a clean container for the first fermentation.
-
Leave to ferment in a warm place until 2.5 times in size.
-
Remove the air, separate out about 100g of white dough, add cocoa powder, and knead until it becomes brown dough. Place in a ziplock bag and set aside.
-
Separate another piece of white dough of about 15g, add appropriate amount of red yeast rice powder, knead it into red dough, put it into a fresh-keeping bag and set aside.
-
Separate another piece of white dough about 15g, add a few drops of blue coloring, knead it into a blue dough, put it into a fresh-keeping bag and set aside.
-
Divide the remaining 240 grams of white dough into 6 pieces, about 40 grams each.
-
Take a piece of white dough and flatten it.
-
Then put it in a warm place for the second hair.
-
Make the ears while fermenting. Take a portion of the brown dough and divide it into small doughs of about 2.5g.
-
Roll into oval shape.
-
Pinch one end to make an ear shape.
-
Make everything, cover with plastic wrap and set aside.
-
Finish the second round of white dough and take it out. Roll out the remaining brown dough and roll it out thinly.
-
Find a round mold (slightly larger than the white facial dough) and press out a round piece. Then use the mold to cut out the arc on one side and the other side.
-
The cut dough pieces (if the tip is too long, you can cut it appropriately), arrange and pull it slightly, and cover it on the fermented white dough.
-
Place the ears you just made on both sides of your head.
-
Roll out the blue dough and use a small round piping tip to press out the nose. Dip the blue nose into the tip of the brown dough.
-
Finally make the bow. Cut the red dough into strips, then cut into small sections, pinch the middle with chopsticks to make a bow shape.
-
Apply to the appropriate position on the head. Arrange everything as shown in the picture, put it in the preheated oven, bottom layer, 180 degrees, about 20 minutes. Cover with tin foil halfway. After baking, take it out and let it cool. Use black cocoa powder and water to draw the eyes.
