  2. Pour sugar, maltose, and soda water into the pot in sequence, bring to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat to simmer.

  3. Boil until it reaches 160 degrees and it will turn into a golden syrup.

  4. Pour the peanuts into the pot and stir quickly to combine.

  5. Pour into a lard-greased mold and quickly flatten and compact.
