Mapo Tofu
Overview
The cooking method here makes this plate of mapo tofu spicy beyond imagination. At least that's how it feels to my palate. But my husband said, this is the taste, this is the most delicious thing you have ever made. Well, no matter what, careful and hard-working cooking is worth sharing with more people.

Add oil to the pot, add chili powder and Sichuan peppercorns over low heat and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add minced pork, soy sauce, bean paste, and sugar and stir-fry.

Add the cubed tofu and stir-fry until browned.

Add water, cover and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

Thicken the cornstarch, pour it into the pot and continue to stir-fry. Remove the juice over high heat.

Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with pepper powder, chopped coriander, and chopped green onions.
