French Country Flatbread

Overview

French country flatbread has both Chinese and Western flavors. Paired with soy milk and rice porridge, it is a Chinese-style breakfast or dinner; paired with milk, it is a Western-style breakfast. French country flatbread has the softness of bread and the crispiness of flatbread.

  3. Preheat the oven for 5 minutes, place the baking sheet on the middle shelf of the oven, and bake at 160° for about 20 minutes, until the bottom of the flatbread is golden brown and the top is crispy

  4. Take the flatbread out of the oven and cool for a while, then cut it into nine slices. The bottom of the flatbread is golden, soft in the middle, and crispy on the outside. It has both French and Chinese flavors when eaten hot and can be kept at room temperature for 2-3 days. This snack is a slightly modified version that I borrowed from the fourth lesson of the "Pastry Cooking Tutorial" of the Las Vegas Art Institute of Sina Open Class.
