Winter Solstice-How can we miss rice balls
Overview
During the Winter Solstice, it is a custom in our area to eat rice balls in the morning. In the past, my mother would make festive delicacies at my parents' house, but here at my husband's house, everything is simple. This year, I will also make some simple festive delicacies during the Winter Solstice!

Ingredients
Steps
-
A small handful of spinach and a piece of purple sweet potato
-
Wash and finely chop the purple sweet potato basket and put it into a food processor to make the vegetable juice. Blanch the spinach in boiling water and chop it into fine pieces. Put it into a food processor and blend it into the vegetable juice
-
Divide the purple cabbage juice into two parts. Add a few drops of white vinegar to one part and it will turn into bright red. (Purple cabbage juice and spinach juice will turn into brown when mixed. The color is not very beautiful. I finally gave up on this color and used water to make a white one.)
-
Mix rice and glutinous rice flour and divide into four portions, add seasoned vegetable juice and water respectively
-
Synthesize smooth mass
-
Roll into small balls and put them on the steamer (I don’t know why the color of the bright red and purple balls is not much different when combined)
-
Steam in a pot under cold water, remove from the pot and let cool. You can put it in fresh-keeping bags and put it in the refrigerator. You can mix it with taro, yam or sweet potatoes and cook it into meatball soup.
-
I use yam and yam in a pot of boiling water until cooked. Add rice balls and cook until cooked. Add appropriate amount of sugar

I don’t know if it’s because of the smoke, but this picture looks very blurry, which makes me afraid to upload it as a finished picture
