Overview

Fresh lentils from Indiana from a friend! It reminds me of the sweet and sour flavored lentils I used to eat when I was a kid. This time I’ll try it myself!

  1. Remove the old sides from the lentils, wash and drain and set aside.

  2. Marinate the shredded pork with a little starch, salt, shredded ginger and cooking wine for 15 minutes.

  3. Pour some olive oil into the frying pan. When the oil is hot, add the marinated shredded pork and stir-fry until it changes color. Dish out and set aside.

  4. Pour a small amount of olive oil into the same pan, add lentils and stir-fry.

  5. Add a little light soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar to taste. Pour in a small amount of water, cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Cook until lentils are tender on the edges.

  6. Finally add the shredded pork and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Just pour two drops of balsamic vinegar on it before serving.
