What’s Christmas without a gingerbread house?
Overview
In fact, the gingerbread house is not edible, it is just to enhance the Christmas atmosphere. (Of course, if you insist on eating it... it's no problem, it just doesn't taste good.) Traditional gingerbread houses are usually made with ginger powder and brown sugar. To save trouble, we use pre-made gingerbread house powder instead. The effect is the same.

To make a gingerbread house, of course you need to design it first and draw the gingerbread house in your mind. Imagine what your cabin will look like. Then, draw its various parts on paper and use scissors to cut out the model. After drawing the design and cutting out the paper model, let’s start!
-
Make the dough according to the recipe proportions and stir for about 3-5 minutes;
-
Make the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, refrigerate and let it rest for 1 hour;
-
Take the rested dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out to a thickness of 0.6cm (if the chopping board is not big enough, you can divide the dough into several small portions and roll it out in batches). Let it rest for another 30 minutes, place the cut paper model on the dough piece, and use a knife to cut out the pattern according to the edge of the model;
-
Place the cut dough pieces on the baking sheet (try not to deform), prick some holes with a fork (optional), brush with a layer of egg liquid, let rest for about 20 minutes, brush with another layer of egg liquid, and sprinkle a small amount of salt to increase the taste;
-
Preheat the Depp electric oven to 160 degrees for 15 minutes; put the dough you made in the baking pan and bake it in the oven for about 15 minutes (the color you like can be used)
-
Let the baked dough cool and set aside; at the same time, make the icing sugar. Put the egg whites and powdered sugar into a mixing bowl and beat quickly until foamy. The frosting is ready when the whisk does not drip and the traces in the basin do not disappear. Then put the piping bag on the tall cup and pour the icing into it;
-
First pipe icing sugar on the base in the appropriate places, then glue the walls and the door. You can use foreign objects or hands to support it for a while, and it will stop falling after a while. Then leave it for a while. After the wall is completely dry, install the roof and door pillars and top. While squeezing out the icing, you can use colored sugar beads to decorate as you like.
-
The gingerbread house is ready. When all parts have solidified, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and add any decorations you like.

Snow-covered roofs, MerryChristmas! !
