Wash the fennel broad beans and set aside. Try to choose broad beans that are green and plump.

Finely chop fennel.

Heat oil in a pot for 5 seconds, add dried chilies and stir-fry until fragrant.

Stir-fry the dried chilies and then add the fennel stems and stir-fry.

Stir-fry for about a minute. Add all the fennel and broad beans to the pot and continue to stir-fry.

After three minutes, add a little salt and continue to stir-fry until the broad beans are soft and evenly coated with fennel. Add a little chicken essence and serve.
