Small yellow croaker stewed with tofu
Overview
This is my first time making this small yellow croaker. I rarely cook fish because my skills are not good. The fish vendor taught me this method. It is so simple to make and tastes good. It has an original and fresh taste.

Remove the internal organs, clean and wash the small yellow croaker, and cut off the tail fin. Of course, you don’t have to cut it

Prepare aniseed, diced green onions, sliced ginger and garlic

Heat oil in a pot, add aniseed, onion and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant

Add water and pepper

Add an appropriate amount of vinegar. Vinegar can also be added after the fish and tofu are boiled

Add small yellow croaker

Pour the tofu into the pot, cover the pot and simmer for about ten minutes

Put water, starch, salt and MSG in a basin, stir evenly

Open the pot and thicken the gravy with water starch several times

Add garlic slices

Sprinkle in chopped coriander

It’s out of the pot. It wasn't served properly and it was broken, but the taste is still quite tempting.
