Overview

When I was a child, my favorite was the leek box made by my father. I could eat two of them at one go every time, and then drink a bowl of white porridge. The leek box was so fragrant when I bit it open that I will never forget the taste.

  1. First wash the leeks and cut them into small pieces.

  2. Heat oil in a pot, add eggs and fry until cooked, add some salt, add leeks and add some sesame oil.

  3. Add warm water to the flour and form a dough, then place it in a basin to wake up for half an hour. You can also do this step first.

  4. Roll the dough into strips and cut into pieces equal to the water.

  5. Roll out the dough into a wrapper, larger than the dumplings.

  6. Wrap the stuffing into the wrapper, and be sure to press the mouth tightly because it will crack during frying. Brush a little oil on the electric pan and fry several at the same time.

  7. Look, the box is out of the pot. It's ready to eat.
