Overview

In the past, every time I picked up my baby from school, I would buy a few rice cakes. My baby liked eating them, so I thought I would try making them myself. The result was quite surprising, the rice cakes turned out very well. This amount is for 6 paper cups. You can increase or decrease the amount according to your needs. The white sugar can be replaced with other flavors, such as brown sugar, cocoa powder, etc. (I made cocoa powder flavor last time, but I forgot to take a photo.) The recipe is very simple. Just make it when you want to eat it😋

  1. Weigh the ingredients, mix flour and baking powder, water and sugar.

  2. Knead evenly into batter. The batter should be pourable, not too thin or too thick.

  3. Pour into the mold and steam in a steamer for about 15 minutes. (Adjust time according to mold size)

  4. After steaming, turn off the heat and simmer for a while, then pierce it with a toothpick. It will be good when the rice cake comes out without sticking. (Don’t open the lid in the middle, the rice cakes will look beautiful)
