Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the required materials, flour, sugar, radish, yeast, and water.
-
Wash and dice carrots.
-
Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
-
Prepare flour, add sugar, and start kneading.
-
Make a small pit in the middle of the flour, pour the yeast water into it, and add some water appropriately. (Don’t add too much water at once, you can add it little by little during the kneading process)
-
After the dough is mixed, the pot, hands, and dough should be light.
-
Put the dough into a large bowl, then put it into a steamer with water, cover the pot, turn off the heat for 2 minutes, and wait for 45 minutes to ferment. (The rapid fermentation method is used here)
-
After 45 minutes, the dough is fermented, and the fermented dough is 2-3 times its original size.
-
Put the fermented dough on the board and continue kneading it.
-
Knead the dough into thin sheets.
-
Sprinkle diced carrots on top.
-
Roll from end to end.
-
Roll into a stick.
-
Cut into flower roll embryos of the same size.
-
Before steaming the Hanamaki, rub a little cooking oil in the steamer to prevent the Hanamaki from sticking to the pan.
-
Steam the flower rolls for 10 minutes.
