Healthy version of candied orange peel toast made by bread machine with less oil and less sugar
Overview
Thinking back to the first time I made bread, I used a one-touch bread machine. I thought it would be easy to put the ingredients in and wait a few hours to eat the bread. It was really convenient. However, the taste was average. I personally thought it tasted like toasted buns. I still prefer bread with a softer texture. So I used a bread machine to knead the dough, and used a toast mold and oven to bake it. Only then did I achieve what I wanted. The ideal bread is soft, delicate, and brushed. The effect is great and the taste is the same as the one sold. Today I tried using a bread machine for the first time to knead the dough through secondary fermentation and then bake it with the bread machine. Wow, unexpected effect. The soft and brushed effect is the same as that of the oven, but it saves a lot of time compared to the oven. I finally succeeded in trying it and will do it again in the future. It is really good ~

Ingredients
Steps
-
This is the candied orange peel I made before
-
Put the ingredients into the bread machine in order of liquid first and then powder. I used corn oil, which is treated as liquid. It should be noted that the yeast is placed on top of the flour.
-
After starting a dough kneading program, start another dough kneading program. When the bread machine has 15 minutes left, put in an appropriate amount of candied orange peel. According to personal taste, because the candied orange peel is already sweet, I only used 30g of sugar for the recipe. I like to eat less sweet bread. If you like sweet bread, you can add 36g of sugar.
-
Proof once in a bread machine until the dough doubles in size.
-
Pour out the dough, deflate it, divide it into four parts and roll into balls,
-
Take out one portion and roll it into tongue shape,
-
Roll up
-
By analogy, all four are rolled up
-
Then pick up the rolled dough in order from first to last, roll it out into a long strip, and then roll it up
-
Roll out all four doughs
-
Put it into the bread machine at once
-
Carry out secondary fermentation until doubled in size
-
Brush the surface with egg wash
-
Select the bake button of the bread machine. I chose the light color for 45 minutes. Click the start button and the bread will start baking.
-
After baking, pour it out to let it warm
-
Take a look at the drawing effect, it is very soft and the internal structure is delicate

Let’s take a close-up, haha, I like it so much, the orange fragrance is left in my teeth, and I have endless aftertaste~
