Sweet potato syrup
Overview
My husband and I got married in Laba, the twelfth lunar month of winter. What impressed me the most on the flowing table in the countryside was the sweet and warm bowl of ginger and sweet potato syrup. Two years later, my son was also born. I suddenly missed that bowl of sweet soup, so I started making it myself, adding more glutinous rice balls to the ingredients, and feeling the indescribable joy of the wedding day. This sugar water is particularly beneficial to women, especially during menstruation or cold periods, because the soup of the sugar water is made of ginger and brown sugar. The old ginger soup can dispel cold and nourish the stomach, warm the uterus, relieve menstrual pain, and treat colds. Making ginger soup is simple and easy to know, and it can be said to be a handy health recipe.
