Brown sugar and red date cake
Overview
I made brown sugar and red date cake last night. The baby slept so late yesterday that I made it in the middle of the night. The house was filled with the smell of dates. The baby ate a big piece in the morning, and the mother-in-law said it was delicious, so the work was not in vain.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the red dates and add water to boil.
-
Remove the date core and tear into small pieces.
-
Put it into a food processor and beat it into jujube puree. You can add some milk when beating, otherwise it will be too dry to beat.
-
Separate the egg whites and yolks of the four eggs, mix the egg yolks with the date paste, and set aside the egg whites.
-
Add milk and mix well.
-
Add vegetable oil and mix well.
-
Sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix well.
-
Start beating the egg whites, adding brown sugar in three batches during the beating process.
-
Beat until small corners can be drawn out.
-
Add half of the brown sugar and egg white batter into the date paste and egg yolk batter, and mix evenly.
-
Pour the entire batter from the previous step into the brown sugar and protein batter, and stir evenly again.
-
Pour into the mold and knock out any air bubbles. I used a 9-inch savarin mold.
-
Put in the preheated oven, 170 degrees, high and low heat, 35 to 40 minutes.
-
Remove and let cool.
-
Remove from the mold.
-
Cut into small pieces and serve on a plate.
