This is a glutinous rice dumpling made during the Lantern Festival. Eating it means reunion. I was busy making it that day, so I am sharing it with you now (this recipe is made with two kinds of fillings)

Place the sesame seeds in the oven at 100 degrees and roast until golden brown. Mix the roasted sesame seeds and sugar evenly (set aside)

Add warm water to the glutinous rice flour and form into a ball. It is better to have moderate hardness and softness and not stick to your hands

Divide the kneaded dough into 15g small pieces. Place the small dough in the palm of your hand and shape it into a round ball. Use your thumb to make a small dimple on the top of the ball and add the filling

Gradually pinch the mouth of the socket together with your fingers, then place it in the palm of your hand and gently roll it into a round shape

Bring water to a boil over high heat, put the wrapped glutinous rice balls into the pot and cook until they float and serve
