Oil-free American hot biscuits
Overview
It feels like a scone, extremely simple, even simpler than a scone. So much so that after mixing the batter, I was a little surprised - is this the end? It seems to be a quick snack that has never been seen before. Instead of condensed milk, I replaced it with milk powder, which adds a bit of milky flavor. The original party didn't say anything about brushing it with egg wash. During the last five minutes of baking, I saw through the glass door that the surface didn't seem to have the luster of the original. So I took it out and brushed it with a thick layer of egg wash. After baking, the effect seemed to be the same as the original. It's especially delicious when eaten hot, with a crispy outer shell, soft interior and a slightly salty taste. . . . .
