Chicken Pasta
Overview
This western dish is a traditional Italian pasta, and its popularity is just like our fried noodles. It's worth saying a few words that its exact name is ChickenPenne. Chicken is chicken, and Penne is a type of pasta. If you insist on translating it directly into Chinese, it is called straight noodles. Our pasta dish can be translated as ~chicken nugget pasta. There are many kinds of pasta and they come in different shapes. As such, their tastes are different and the corresponding side dishes are also different. This is actually similar to our pasta. We also have knife-shaped noodles, fried noodles, saozi noodles, etc. They also have different shapes, preparations and side dishes. Here, the chef will share with you more different types of pasta and the different side dishes that accompany them. Okay, let’s get into chicken nugget pasta!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Peel the skin and bones off the chicken legs and cut into 1 cm cubes. When I make chicken dishes, I always choose chicken thighs, which taste better than chicken breasts (except of course for stewed chicken, roasted chicken, braised chicken, etc. that require whole chickens)
-
Chop 15 garlic cloves. This pasta dish requires garlic. Fortunately, garlic is a healthy food and eating more is beneficial
-
Finely chop the parsley. Some friends may be unfamiliar with it. It is a commonly used ingredient in Western food, especially Italian food. Its English name is continentalparsley
-
Fresh parsley is not very common in China, but friends, don’t worry, you can find dried parsley in the condiment section of major supermarkets. Pay attention to the English notes when choosing, because the Chinese labels are sometimes affixed later, and the translation may be different. Okay, if you use dried parsley, two tablespoons is enough
-
Chop fresh tomatoes into small cubes, about half a centimeter square
-
This is our straight-through noodles~penne. It can be cooked in the pot while we are chopping vegetables. It is the same method as cooking our dry noodles. It may take a little longer (it will not take more than 15 minutes from the time the water boils and the pot is cooked to the time it is cooked)
-
Drain the cooked spaghetti and set aside. To prevent the cooked spaghetti from sticking together, add slightly cold water. This will also make the spaghetti taste better ~ chewy
-
Put an appropriate amount of olive oil in the pan and turn on the heat
-
Don't wait until the oil is too hot, add minced garlic and fry for about half a minute until it becomes slightly fragrant
-
Add chicken nuggets
-
Then add the parsley and stir-fry
-
When the surface of the chicken pieces turns white, add chopped tomatoes
-
Also add appropriate amount of salt
-
Pour in 30ml of red wine
-
After stirring evenly, cover and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes
-
When the tomatoes in the pot are out of soup, add 100 grams of tomato paste, about 3-4 spoons. If not much tomato soup comes out of the pot after 5 minutes, it means that not much salt has been added. You can continue to simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes
-
Add tomato paste and mix well. Let me explain, the ketchup here is not the ketchup you usually eat French fries with. This is a misunderstanding in China. Many Western restaurants use that kind of pasta to make pasta. In fact, it is tomatosauce, which literally translates to "tomato sauce". It is a bit sweet and thin. Tomatopaste is used here, which is tomato sauce. It has no added sugar and is very thick. They are available in domestic supermarkets, so pay attention to the labels when buying. One more thing, there is also a kind of tomato sauce called tomatopuree, which is sold. It is also made of pure tomatoes. It is very thin and can be used for some kinds of pasta. I will talk about it later.
-
Mix well then cover and continue to simmer over low heat for another 5 minutes
-
After simmering for 5 minutes, you can use a small spoon to taste whether it is salty enough, because the pasta is about to be added. Tip, it’s best not to add too much salt when you start adding it. If it’s too bland, you can fix it now. If it’s too salty, be careful next time
-
When the saltiness is right, add the pasta and stir over high heat for one minute. This will mix well and absorb the juice
-
Serve! The amount of ingredients shared with you here is suitable for 2 to 3 people. Of course, the whole package is also available for one person, because it is so delicious

This spaghetti sauce is rich and flavorful and can be enjoyed with a few slices of bread. The buns dipped in this Italian sauce also have a unique taste. I often see some Italians wiping their plates with the buns and saying, "Nice!" while eating the wiped bread.
