Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the spareribs and marinate them with salt, light soy sauce and cooking wine
-
To make a paste, one pound of pork ribs and one egg. This time I made about three pounds, so I beat three eggs.
-
Add cornstarch, flour and eggs and beat well. Use chopsticks to pull out the thread.
-
Put the oil in the pan and fry slowly over medium heat until golden brown.
-
Key step: sauce. In a pot of water, put the peppercorns, aniseed, fennel, bay leaves, green onion segments, and ginger slices into the pot and cook. Simmer over low heat for a while to bring out the flavor of the ingredients.
-
Add dark soy sauce to make it amber, and add some salt.
-
Put the fried ribs into a bowl, put two scallions, one aniseed, and one cinnamon on top. Pour the cooked sauce on top to cover the meat.
-
Steam in a steamer over medium heat for 40 minutes.
-
The finished product is soft, crispy and fragrant. It is especially suitable for the elderly and children. It doesn’t cost any teeth. Make it for the elderly at home and recall the taste of the past.
