Rice dumplings with flowers and roses
Overview
I originally planned to pickle rose sauce, but the sweet smell of roses made me really greedy, so I changed my mind and made flower and rose glutinous rice balls.

Be sure to buy fresh roses that are edible, peel them into petals, soak them in light salt water, and then rinse them with running water.

Peel off the hard shells of raw and dried walnuts.

White sugar and butter (white sugar can be replaced with soft white sugar or other).

Roast and chop raw dried walnuts.

Fry the low-gluten flour in a hot, oil-free pan.

Chop the fresh rose petals into small pieces. Do not chop them too finely to avoid water leakage when stuffing. Also, you can retain the chewy texture of the rose petals.

First stir the fried low-gluten flour, butter, and cooked chopped walnuts evenly, then add the rose petals and mix evenly.

Mix glutinous rice balls with water, take about 50 grams of glutinous rice balls and cook them in a pot of water, take them out and knead them evenly with the rest of the dough.
