Overview

Every time I read San Mao's "Hotel in the Desert", in which San Mao deceives Jose into saying that the vermicelli sent by his mother-in-law from Taiwan is rain, and the box she made of spinach and vermicelli, the crushed vermicelli in it is mistaken by Jose for shark wings, I never stop laughing.
