Steps
-
Heat the milk in hot water to 40 degrees.
-
Pour out a small amount (about half a bowl) of milk and dissolve the yeast.
-
Take 500g of flour (about two small bowls), put the eggs, sugar and salt into a basin, pour in the dissolved yeast, add the remaining milk, stir with chopsticks while adding, then knead into a smooth dough, seal the basin with plastic wrap, and let it rise at room temperature until it doubles in size.
-
Take out the fermented dough, flatten it, and fold it into a long strip. Roll it out with a rolling pin to a width of six centimeters and a thickness of 0.5 centimeters. Use a knife to cut it into strips about two centimeters wide. Take one piece apart, apply a small amount of water on the strips, and press it with chopsticks. (I used oil at the beginning, but it fell apart before the frying was finished)
-
Heat the oil pan until it is slightly smokey, stretch the pressed semi-finished product slightly, put it into the pan, use chopsticks to roll the fried dough sticks until golden brown, and then take them out of the pan.
