Overview
I wanted to eat sticky bean buns, but I couldn’t buy rhubarb rice, so I tried making some with glutinous rice. An improved version of sticky bean buns is out!

Steps
-
Ingredients: 200 grams of glutinous rice flour, 100 grams of fine cornmeal, bean paste filling.
-
Mix cornmeal and glutinous rice flour evenly, add boiling water and stir until flocculent.
-
When your hands are not hot, knead into a smooth dough and rest for 20 minutes.
-
Knead the relaxed dough evenly on the chopping board and shape it into a long strip.
-
Divide into evenly sized portions.
-
Roll out the divided dough into a slightly thicker dough and add an appropriate amount of bean paste filling.
-
After wrapping it tightly, shape it slightly with the seam facing downwards.
-
Place in a steamer, turn on the steam and steam for 12 minutes. (The steaming time is adjusted according to the size of the rice cake)
-
It's steamed. The bean paste filling is sweet and the outer skin is soft and chewy. If you like it, you can give it a try.
