Wash the apples, slice them, add water, cook over high heat to about 50 degrees, turn off the heat, soak for 3 minutes, and drain.

Roll out a piece of puff pastry to about 3 mm thick and cut into 6 equal-width strips.

Take a long strip, spread a layer of melted butter and sprinkle with a layer of cinnamon sugar.

Arrange the apple slices, fold the other half of pastry over, brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Start rolling from one side into a rose shape.

Repeat the above steps until you have made 6 pieces, and place them in a buttered muffin pan.

Bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the edges are browned. After drying, sprinkle with a layer of powdered sugar for decoration.
