  1. Wash the apples, slice them, add water, cook over high heat to about 50 degrees, turn off the heat, soak for 3 minutes, and drain.

  2. Roll out a piece of puff pastry to about 3 mm thick and cut into 6 equal-width strips.

  3. Take a long strip, spread a layer of melted butter and sprinkle with a layer of cinnamon sugar.

  4. Arrange the apple slices, fold the other half of pastry over, brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

  5. Start rolling from one side into a rose shape.

  6. Repeat the above steps until you have made 6 pieces, and place them in a buttered muffin pan.

  7. Bake in the oven at 190 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the edges are browned. After drying, sprinkle with a layer of powdered sugar for decoration.
