Have all materials ready

Weigh the sugar and butter into a small milk pot

Add milk to the small milk pot

Heat the butter over low heat until it melts, pour it into a clean basin and let it cool until it is not hot to your hands

Add an egg

Mix well with a hand mixer

Sift in the mochi pre-mixed powder

Mix it a little with a spatula and add in the good time seaweed

Crush the seaweed directly with your hands and add it. Because there is salt in the seaweed, there is no need to add any extra salt

Use your hands to knead all the ingredients into a ball

Divide it into 16 small portions, roll it into balls, and place it on a baking sheet. I use a 28 cm square plate from Xuechu

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees for ten minutes, place the baking sheet on the middle shelf, and bake for 20 minutes. Depending on the condition, you can cover it with tin foil.

After baking, you don’t need to take it out immediately. Leave it in the oven for five minutes before taking it out.
