Mama Dou will help you make French fries that your baby won’t be able to stop eating
Overview
Most babies like to eat French fries. Whether it’s Dicos or KFC, French fries are a must-order. My beans are also super potato fans. My order on the first day of school – I want French fries! Dou praised that my French fries tasted better than the ones I bought!

Peel and wash two large potatoes, cut them into small strips (Dou Ma is a rough type, so you can cut them a bit large according to your preference), soak them in cold water to extract the starch in the potatoes. If you want to shorten the time, you can change the water several times. Place water in a pot and start boiling while you prepare the potatoes.
-
Boil the water, put in the potatoes and cook for two to three minutes, then take them out and put them in cold water to drain them out.
-
Add a little salt to the dried potatoes (I added a little too much, the beans like it a little saltier), and shake the pot back and forth to let the potatoes eat the salt evenly. Then add a little cornstarch, follow the same method, and shake the pot back and forth to coat each potato strip with starch! I have always used cornstarch from Zishantang, which is very easy to use. Please do not use high-viscosity starch! (If you don’t have starch at home, you can omit it. Children will love it even if it’s fried)
-
When the oil temperature is about 70% to 80% hot, put the fries into the pot. There is no need to flip the fries after they are put out of the pot. Wait for 5-6 minutes before the fries are basically formed before flipping. The fries dipped in corn starch will basically separate automatically. Watch the fries until they are fried to the color you want.

.Be sure to control the oil when taking it out of the pan. When placing the plate, I also use oil-absorbing paper as the bottom, so that the fries at the bottom of the plate will not be too oily! It won’t become soft if placed directly on the plate because it’s too hot!

The fries fried in this way also have a hollow feeling in the middle! My family is a mix of Chinese and Western. To eat French fries, Dou can have a bowl of rice pudding, which he doesn’t usually like! After eating porridge, I was allowed to eat French fries!
