Fried milk

Fried milk

Overview

Milk can also be fried and eaten, which always sounds a bit strange, but there has been a trend of crispy milk in the circle of friends, and many friends have begun to try to make this little dessert. This dessert does not require an oven, it can be made with a milk pot and pan, and the ingredients used are also very simple, milk, sugar, and bread crumbs. These ingredients can be obtained in the small supermarket at the door. It is not troublesome to make, so many people like to make it.

Steps

  1. Prepare a small milk pot. I use a non-stick milk pot. It is best to use a non-stick one that heats evenly. Add pure milk, sugar and cornstarch to the milk pot and stir evenly. If you want the fried milk to have a richer taste, you can also add some cream or condensed milk for seasoning. You can increase or decrease the amount of sugar. What I made is not particularly sweet. If you like sweet food, you can add more sugar.

  2. Place the milk pot on the stove, lower the heat, and stir while heating. It is easier to use this silicone spatula when stirring. The milk will soon become thicker. When it is thick, turn off the heat and take the milk pot off the stove.

  3. Put a layer of high-temperature plastic wrap in the crisper to make it easier to unmold. Pour the cooked milk paste into the crisper and refrigerate it for two hours. I cooked it before going to bed at night and refrigerated it overnight.

  4. Take out the fresh milk after it has been refrigerated, and cut it into thumb-thick strips. Don’t make it too thin. If it is too thin, it will not be fried well. The solidified fresh milk will not spread out, and it will still have a slight elasticity when shaken.

  5. Prepare several clean containers and put cornstarch, egg liquid and golden bread crumbs in them.

  7. Finally, add in bread crumbs and coat evenly with a layer of bread crumbs.

  8. Add a little more oil than cooking oil to a non-stick pan, heat it over medium-low heat, add fresh milk sticks, and fry slowly over low or medium-low heat.

  9. The fried fresh milk is crispy and hard on the outside, rich in milk aroma and as soft and tender as pudding on the inside.
