Lychee Pork Balls
Overview
I’ve made sweet and sour pork with pineapple. When pineapples are in season, the sweet and sour pineapple aroma is particularly strong, so that’s why I use the fruit in the dish. I bought lychees after get off work today, and the other day I saw a recipe online that uses lychees and chicken together. I didn’t have chicken at home, so I used the existing pork and made lychee pork balls, which were also delicious.

Prepare lychees, eggs, pork, green onions, and carrots

Peel the lychees, peel and wash the carrots and slice them

Chop the pork and add eggs

Add a small amount of salt, oyster sauce and cooking wine, stir well

Add pepper powder, chicken essence, salt, oyster sauce and starch to water to make a juice and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan

Roll into round balls with your hands and fry in a pot

Fry until golden brown on both sides

Add lychees and meatballs and stir-fry
