Steps
-
Weigh the ingredients. Divide the white sugar into 2 parts, one is 130g and the other is 20g. Put 6g of apple gum powder into 20g of sugar and mix evenly. My oranges have been stored for a long time and the water has been lost, so the orange juice extracted is darker in color and contains a small amount of pulp residue.
-
Pour the orange juice into a thick-bottomed milk pot, heat over low heat to 40°C, pour the apple gum and sugar mixture into the orange juice, and stir until dissolved.
-
Cook over low heat until the juice bubbles and boils. Pour in 130g of white sugar and 45g of syrup, stirring constantly.
-
Continue to heat the orange juice syrup to 107°C and pour it into a square container lined with a preservation mold.
-
After cooling and solidifying, cut into small cubes about 2 cm square.
-
Roll it in the sugar so that it is fully coated with the sugar.
-
Or roll it in coconut milk to coat it with coconut milk.
