Purple sweet potato buns
Overview
Seeing that everyone is using purple sweet potato to make delicious snacks, I couldn’t help but buy it and try to make steamed buns. I feel that the dough with purple sweet potato will be softer, and the shape is still a bit difficult for me. I will reduce the amount of purple sweet potato puree appropriately next time. I hope I can successfully make the rose shape that I promised my child

Steps
-
Cut two purple potatoes into cubes and steam them in a pot, then crush them with the back of a spoon until they become pureed
-
After the mashed potatoes have cooled down, pour in the flour, pour in the yeast powder, mix briefly, then slowly add a small amount of warm water
-
Knead the flour and mashed potatoes evenly into a ball with your hands, let it sit for 10 minutes, then knead a few more times, cover with plastic wrap and ferment
-
After fermentation (I over-raised it, it should be controlled to 1.5 times in size), deflate the dough, roll it into a rectangular dough, roll it up from one side, press it slightly, and cut it into sections with a knife.
-
Steam in a cold water pot for 20 minutes and simmer for 5 minutes. It’s ready. My dough over-risen and the finished product is out of shape
