Mima’s secret grilled wings

Overview

I really like cooking in the oven. It has no fumes and is easy to operate. You don’t even need to wash the pot. It’s perfect for lazy people like me! I always thought the restaurant's Orleans Grilled Wings were too sweet and not fragrant enough, so I modified it myself and added grapefruit peel to freshen and relieve the greasiness, while fennel not only removed the fishy smell but also added aroma. It tastes really good after it comes out! I usually can’t finish one of the Orleans grilled wings sold outside, but I ate four of these homemade ones, haha

Steps

  1. Wash the chicken wings and drain the water.

  2. Use a fork to make holes on both sides of the chicken wings to enhance the flavor.

  3. Pour in the red wine, Orleans BBQ sauce and massage the chicken wings with your hands for 5 minutes.

  4. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 2-3 hours.

  5. Place a piece of grapefruit peel on a baking sheet lined with tin foil, place the baking sheet under the grill, place chicken wings on the grill, brush with a layer of marinated juice, and put fennel leaves on the chicken wings.

  6. Put it in the preheated oven and bake at 210 degrees for 15 minutes. Then turn it over and brush it with a layer of Orleans barbecue sauce. Put it in the oven again and bake it for 8 minutes. Take it out of the oven. Forgot to take pictures of this step. Hehe.

  7. Finished product picture, not bad, right? Haha.
