Berliner Wreath Cookies
Overview
Berliner wreath biscuits are one of several Norwegian Christmas biscuits, with a very light and fluffy texture that melts in your mouth. Ingredients: Dough: 1 cooked egg yolk, 1 raw egg yolk, 30g fine sugar, 100g butter, 150g all-purpose flour. Surface decoration: appropriate amount of egg white, appropriate amount of coarse sugar

Soften the butter at room temperature and sift in the flour

Knead it roughly evenly with your hands

Take a cooked egg yolk and sift it

Add a raw egg yolk

Mix well

Add sugar

Beat with an electric mixer until thick

Then pour it into the butter and flour that you kneaded before

Mix well

Bag and refrigerate overnight

Take part of the dough and roll it into a long strip

Cut the dough into roughly uniform pieces

Take a small piece of dough and roll it into a long shape, then place the two ends crosswise

Brush a layer of egg white liquid on the surface

Then covered with coarse sugar

Arrange them one by one on the baking sheet

Place in the middle rack of the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes

Let cool out of the oven and then seal and store
