Steps
-
Have all materials and tools ready.
-
Weigh the wheat flour and salt; dissolve the yeast in 100 grams of water.
-
After adding the dissolved yeast liquid, knead while adding water to form a smooth dough. Don't add a lot of water at once, pay attention.
-
Cover with a slightly damp cloth and ferment for 1 hour and 30 minutes for the first time.
-
After the first rise, cut the dough in half.
-
Knead into two smooth dough balls, cover with a slightly damp cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.
-
After that, use a rolling pin to roll it into an oval shape, fold it up by 1/3, and press it firmly with your palms.
-
Then fold the other 2/3 over and press it tightly with your palms.
-
Then fold it in half, press it firmly with the front and back sides of your hands, and organize the dough into a mallet shape.
-
Line a baking pan with oven paper, place the dough in, then cover with a slightly damp cloth, and ferment for the second time for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
-
Use a rectangular object (I used a pallet) to flatten it. At the same time, pour 50 ml of water into another empty baking pan and preheat to 230 degrees for 5 minutes.
-
Use a razor blade to make polka openings in the dough.
-
Place the baking pan with the water on the bottom layer, and the baking pan with the dough on the third layer. Bake in the microwave at 230 degrees for 25 minutes.
-
I took a look halfway through and saw that it had begun to swell and color with about ten minutes left.
-
After baking, take it out and let it cool.
-
The surface is hard when pressed, the sides are crispy, and the inside is soft. I tried it with my friends and they all said it was good✌️
