Soak the glutinous rice for an hour in advance and bake the egg yolks in advance to make the meatball filling.

Press the meat filling flat with your hands and place an egg yolk (in fact, half can be used and one is a bit too big).

Wrap the egg yolk with the meat filling.

Roll it in the drained glutinous rice.

Covered with glutinous rice.

Put the ball in your hands to make the glutinous rice and meat filling more dense.

Line a steamer with gauze, put the pearl meatballs in and steam them over high heat for 30 minutes (my meatballs were extra large).
