Homemade Strawberry Jam
Overview
I bought some strawberries and made some jam at home to preserve.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Pour the strawberries into the container
-
Clean and remove the stems and place in a sealed box
-
Drain the water and add sugar. Coat each strawberry with sugar and refrigerate until the water comes out
-
Then take the strawberries out of the refrigerator and pour them into a pot (stainless steel pot or non-stick pot, do not use an iron pot, otherwise the cooked strawberry jam will turn black) and cook over high heat until it boils
-
After boiling, reduce the heat to low, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon, and simmer over low heat until it becomes thick. You can taste it. If you feel the sweetness is not enough, you can add some sugar
-
Once the paste is cooked, turn off the heat. After cooling, put the strawberry jam into a clean, water-free sealed glass container and store it in the refrigerator. Take it out when you want to eat
