Add salt and soy sauce to the meat filling, which tastes very fresh. Mix well and marinate for 2 hours (I marinated it a day in advance)

Mix equal amounts of cornmeal, millet flour, and bean flour (I used half and half black beans and soybean flour). Add appropriate amount of cumin pepper powder and chili powder according to personal taste and mix well

Dice the carrots, add some minced onion, ginger powder, salt, a little bit of sugar and mix well

Add the marinated meat filling to the carrots and mix well. Mix well and then knead with your hands to combine

Add yeast. Knead into dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour

Make steamed buns and steam for 20 minutes
