Black rice is rarely used for steamed rice, but I bought small pumpkins and paired them with black rice to try making black rice

Prepare raw materials

Cut off the top of the small pumpkin, scoop out the inner flesh, and clean it. Wash the black rice and soak it in water for three hours

Put the soaked black rice into the small pumpkin

Cover with the cut-off top as a lid, place in a pot with cold water, and steam for 45 minutes after the water boils
