Steps
-
Add salt and allspice to flour and mix well.
-
Add warm water and knead into a smooth dough, wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.
-
Divide into 10 portions, each portion is about 64 grams.
-
Take one and roll it into a rectangular sheet, brush it with oil. (Can be vegetable oil, melted butter or lard.)
-
Cut the dough into thin strips, (as shown in the picture.)
-
Use a spatula to push and roll it up, brushing oil while pushing so that both sides are covered with oil.
-
Roll it up and set it aside to relax, and everything is done.
-
Take the first one, stretch it long, and roll both ends toward the middle.
-
Stack it up.
-
Press it flat slightly, set it aside to relax, and continue with the rest.
-
After it is done, the first one is loose and flattened with the palm of your hand.
-
Add more oil to a non-stick pan, fry the pancake over low heat until golden brown, turn over and continue frying until golden brown.
-
The pancake is almost done, and it separates slightly when pinched with chopsticks.
-
After frying, put on oil-absorbing paper or kitchen paper to absorb the oil.
-
Crispy and delicious.
