Pasta with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes
Overview
The story of me and Heinz ketchup - first encounter (I have to say that I am a tomato addict and love ketchup so much that I have even tried homemade ketchup. Of course, I still buy it in the supermarket most of the time. Generally, most of the ones on the shelves are in glass bottles, but they have shortcomings. Every time I use them to the bottom, I have to shake them around, or pat the bottle, hoping that the sauce will flow out quickly! Haha, I wonder if you guys have had such an experience?! Of course, everything changed because of a shopping trip two years ago! One rainy afternoon, I passed by Carrefour and walked in. The red products were all displayed in the middle of the supermarket. Wow, isn’t this the bagged tomato ketchup I’ve always wanted to buy? Wow, the price of the second bag was half! I couldn’t wait to grab two bags and put them in my shopping cart! When I got to school, I squeezed some ketchup onto a spoon and tasted it. It was really good. I just remember my first impression: it was really different from the other brands I bought before. Heinz’s was more delicate, sweet and sour, and the color was brighter. I am a very brand loyal person, as the mobile phone I am using now is my eighth Nokia. Since then, I have never bought other brands of ketchup.) Approaching the competition (Login to Gourmet World is almost a required course for me every day. I love to look at the food recommendations on the homepage to find some inspiration for cooking. After becoming a teacher, I became busier, but I rarely missed this class! That day, I saw the Heinz creative recipe collection activity, and my eyes lit up. What a coincidence, it happens to be my favorite tomato sauce brand. I am very excited, really excited! But do you want to participate in this? I still hesitated for a long time! In front of students, I always show the most optimistic and confident side, and I also try to help students establish a good sense of self-efficacy. But deep down, I am not so confident, and I even feel evasive! After thinking about it, I finally decided to participate! I hope to share my journey with everyone! Then and now (In the past, I used Heinz sauce to make flowery eggplant, fish-flavored shredded pork, sushi, sweet and sour pork ribs, wings, Jiugongge winter melon, etc.! In fact, more often, I still use it to make pasta, squeeze two circles of sauce along the pot, and put it in the pot. The tomatoes are more fragrant and the soup is richer and mellower. It feels great! This time, I still decided to use Heinz tomato sauce to make pasta. I enjoy the cooking process and will definitely put a lot of love into this happy tomato sauce pasta!
