Overview
Cast iron pots are excellent for cooking and cooking rice. The rice cooked in cast iron pots is shiny, with distinct grains, fluffy and elastic, and is sweet and delicious when eaten. It is much more delicious than the rice cooked in an electric rice cooker

After washing the rice, soak it for 30 minutes. The ratio of rice to water is 1:1.1 (if you like a slightly harder texture, the ratio of rice to water is 1:1)

Bring to a boil over medium heat, then turn to low heat for 10 minutes

Turn off the heat and simmer for another 15 minutes before uncovering the lid (do not uncover the lid during the process)

After the rice is simmered, use a rice spoon to mix it gently. This way the water vapor will disperse cleanly, the taste will be better, the aroma of the rice will be better released, and air will enter to make the rice fuller and fluffier
