Kunbo Casserole Roasted Sweet Potatoes - The Taste in Memory

Kunbo Casserole Roasted Sweet Potatoes - The Taste in Memory

Overview

I remember when I was in high school, when it was cold, there was always an old woman pulling a cart with delicious roasted sweet potatoes. The fragrance wafted far and wide, always arousing the greed in my heart, and I couldn't help but buy one and eat it. After so many years, I still buy and eat roasted sweet potatoes when I see them sold on the street, but they always seem to lack a little flavor. It smells delicious but tastes bland. I also tried baking the sweet potatoes in the oven, however, I still couldn’t find the original flavor. I recently bought a Kunbo casserole, which is advertised as dry-cooked and quenched, which made me curious. Maybe I can bake a sweet potato in it. Just do it, I bought sweet potatoes and tried it out. During the roasting process, the aroma of sweet potatoes kept coming out, making me salivate. After roasting, the sweet potatoes are soft, fragrant and glutinous, with a special taste. Unexpectedly, this casserole allowed me to find the taste of roasted sweet potatoes in my memory.

Steps

  1. Prepare the sweet potatoes and all necessary tools, wipe the casserole clean with a wrung-out towel, and place the grill in the pot.

  2. Tear off two pieces of tin foil, making each piece a little longer. Two pieces of tinfoil are stacked staggered to form a "ten" shape. Fold the excess foil to the outside of the casserole so that water vapor will not enter the pot.

  5. When the time is up, open the lid and remember to wear gloves. Use tongs to turn the sweet potatoes over, continue to cook on the highest heat, and set the timer for 40 minutes. (The sweet potatoes I bought were too big, so they took a little longer to bake. Normal size will take 25 minutes each time.)

  6. Don't take out the roasted sweet potatoes in a hurry. Put them in a casserole and use the residual heat of the casserole to simmer for another 15 minutes. The sweet potatoes will be even more delicious.
